Sony DAV-HDX500/i BRAVIA Home Theater System

Product Description
As a leader in products with HDMI connectivity, Sony has created BRAVIA Theater Sync Technology to go beyond simple audio and video transmission. When combined with a selected number of BRAVIA LCD televisions and other Sony audio and video products, control functions will be transmitted via the HDMI cable. With One Touch Play operations, several steps have been reduced to one. Press the PLAY button on the remote, watch the audio and/or the video component(s) turn on, then the BRAVIA television will turn on and switch to the correct video input. Simple…Easy…BRAVIA Home Theater System.

    NOT BAD
Good sound, good looks. It has preset equalizer sounds though which I dont care for( you cant adjust the bass or treble to your liking).

    Great system but
Great system, but just not enough volume. If you are looking for serious volume look somewhere else because this unit is limited in that department.

    Sony DAV System
I was very pleased with this Sony system. I set it up, including running the wires through the ceiling, in about 90 minutes. It is simple to use and the sound is quite good.

    Great system
I love the system. I’m not the best at hooking up systems like this but I got it done in a reasonable amount of time. It sounds great.

Nice unit but could use more Bass
This is a really nice unit except that it lacks some deeper bass. I have a Sonly 46″ XBR LCD and it works perfect with the Theatre sync button.

    Great Home Theater
    System! But Beware on Wireless
Bought this home theater a few months ago, and this is a great system. When I purchased the system, I wanted the wireless kit for the rear speakers.

I reseached for a while before deciding on this unit for our TV room and I haven’t been disappointed.

    Bravo, Bravia!
I’ve had other home theater systems (less expensive) but this one definitely fits the bill! If you put out money for the Bravia HDTV, you definitely want your sound to match…
